Flipped Classroom Modules & Implementing Technology In Teaching
Click on the buttons below to see some an example of a Flipped Classroom and an online learning module I created for students using Weebly. When implementing my Flipped Classroom modules I first took the students on a brief overview of the website, we then worked on our lessons in the media center and came back to class with questions and answers the following day. As you will see, students used a variety of learning strategies with assessments taken throughout to ensure understanding and growth.

The below "During Reading" strategy incorporates the use of an "Think Aloud" where students will question different aspects of the story and think why the character may or may not be doing something. This particular lesson also has a teacher use guide.
|
"After Reading" strategies are used to help students connect to the reading and is a good end-of-the-period activity to review the day's lesson and promote higher order thinking. The below "After Reading" strategy incorporates the use of an "Likert Scale" and asks students to define key terms.
